SOME THINGS ABOUT ME

  • I’m exceptional in untangling and understanding highly technical domains & enterprise-sized challenges
  • A volunteer outdoor educator, (mostly) self-taught developer, business graduate, and artist, I’ve got a vast knowledge base and an outstanding lateral thinking capability
  • I ask a lot of questions, have a great radar for linchpin details, normalized idiosyncrasies, and smart workarounds
  • Perceiving the larger scope of behavioural, cultural, historical norms and heuristics in a problem space is just as important to me as cold, hard technical facts
  • While great UI is a given, I’m more interested in accuracy, function, flow, accessibility, D.R.Y. & scalability than flashy aesthetics (I’d rather design a CLI than a consumer app, if I’m being honest)
  • I’m cautious but curious about emerging technologies and love to play around in emergent spaces (currently really into agentic AI-assisted-engineering for prototyping)
  • Big fan of OOUX (Object Oriented UX) approaches for structuring information architecture, content, and taxonomy, as well as for breaking free from journey-driven analysis (which I worry can often limit breakthroughs)
